Current-insulated antifriction bearings-SQ77 supplement

In test-stand motors, generators and things like that breakdowns by surface conduction can occur having a disastrous impact on the antifriction bearings used,as their roller paths and balls are destroyed. The consequence of this is an early failure of the bearings.

An efficient and trouble-free operation can be achieved by using current-insulated antifriction bearings with an electrical-insulation value of up to 500V at risky spots like the ones mentioned above.
